Is verification guaranteed?
No. Verification is selective, particularly for Influencer and Huffadh applications. We review each application individually based on recitation quality, documentation provided, and platform fit. Applying does not guarantee approval.
How long does the review take?
We aim to review all applications within 2–5 business days. You will be notified by email once a decision is made. If your application is rejected, you are welcome to reapply with updated documentation.
Can I apply if I'm not well-known online?
Yes — especially for the Huffadh pathway. You do not need a large following. What matters is the quality of your recitation and, for Huffadh, your Ijazah. Masjid applications are judged on institutional legitimacy.
Can a masjid manage reciters who are not on Aswaat?
Yes. Once your masjid account is verified, you can create profile pages for your imams and scholars — even if they don't have their own Aswaat accounts. All their content will be associated with your masjid.
What if I'm a Hafiz with a social media following?
Apply as Huffadh. Your social presence is a bonus but the Ijazah and recitation quality carry the most weight for that pathway. You can mention your social presence in the Additional Notes field.
Can my verification be revoked?
Yes. Verified status can be revoked if community standards are violated, content is found to be fraudulent, or recitation quality does not meet the standards set out in our Terms of Service.
Join verified reciters from masjids, public personalities, and Huffadh from around the world who share their recitation on Aswaat.
